Fight Traffic Tickets
I?m not sure that I know anyone who has gone their entire driving career without getting some sort of ticket. Though I have never gotten one myself, I have come close a few times. Luckily for me, I always seemed to be able to get out of the ticket. I guess that was perhaps because my offenses were not huge, and because I was always polite and honest to the officer. Whatever the case may be, I do realize that it may have gotten one. Many people who get these like to go to court to fight traffic tickets. Though you can get out of them, there are some times when you just have to pay.
I heard a rumor on the Internet about how to fight traffic tickets. This rumor is considered an urban legend and there is no truth to it whatsoever. Someone started the story that if you want to fight traffic tickets, all you have to do is pay for your ticket with a little more than the amount of your fine. Though you are still paying for the traffic ticket, they say that this is a way to avoid getting points on your license. They say that when you are issued a refund via check, you do not cash that refund check, and your ticket will be in limbo and the points will not be added to your license. You should know that this is definitely not true.
One of the most effective ways to fight traffic tickets is to show up in court. In some cases, the police officers are too busy to appear. If they do not show up, you may not have to pay the ticket. If they do show up however, you will not be able to fight traffic tickets without a good excuse. You may go to court hoping they don?t show up, but you have to realize that they might. You?re going to feel really stupid if the police officer shows up and you have no valid excuse for trying to get out of the ticket.
The best way to fight traffic tickets is to not get them at all. This is almost impossible for the average person, and even the best drivers will get one or two in their lifetime. You can try to fight traffic tickets, but in the end it might not be worth your time and effort. Just remember that if you are honest to the police officer about what you have done, and you admit that you had made an honest mistake, they may not give you a ticket at all. This might not work, but I can assure you that being cocky and trying to freak out on the officer will ensure that you do indeed get that ticket.
